A CALL TO PREACH IS A CALL TO PREPARE

Our History

Pastor Tim Gammons has always had a burden for training “Preacher Boys” for the ministry because he believes that a “Call to Preach” is a “Call to Prepare.” 

In 2009, after seeing the need for a economical, work-friendly, Biblically sound Bible College in our area, he founded Woodland Baptist Bible College. 

In 2021 Pastor Gammons asked Dr. Roger Baker to become the president of our college. Under his guidance the college has been greatly blessed. 

Our Philosophy

Woodland and Pastor Gammons are all about “Local Church.” 

We are not looking to take members away from other local churches of like faith. We are only looking to help better equip men and women for service in the work of the Lord. 

Our Purpose

TO GLORIFY 

We seek to glorify God in all that we teach and in all that we do so that Christ might be exalted. 

TO PREPARE 

We strive to prepare men and women for the service of our Lord. 

Our Methods

THROUGH TEACHING 

We offer sound Biblical and Practical Teaching from the King James Version of the Word of God. 

THROUGH TRAINING

We offer sound Training in all areas of the ministry to equip Servants for Service. 

THROUGH SERVICE

We believe that no education is complete without involvement in the local church. So we require our students to serve (whether it be at our church or another church of like faith).
