Ministries
Worship is the act of loving and responding to God. Our main worship services begin on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Through heart-warming,
conservative music and Bible preaching, your heart will be inspired to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged,
and drawn closer to Him.
Over the years, hundreds of people have trusted Christ as their personal Saviour through our worship services, classes, and ministries.
On Wednesday evenings, many of our members participate in community outreach throughout the Winston-Salem area. We leave at 5:45 p.m.
to spend time visiting and reaching the lost with the Gospel of Christ.
Hundreds of children, adults, and families are brought to church each week through the bus ministry. Many of these children are underprivileged,
and the love of Christ that they receive through the bus ministry is the highlight of their week. Each week members of Woodland, faithfully give
of their time to minister to these families.
Through our annual missions conference in August, the church has continued to maintain a heart for world-wide missions. We currently support
more than 85 missionaries who are preaching the gospel throughout the world. These missionaries are supported through and sent by local independent
Baptist churches.
Woodland Baptist Christian School was founded in 1963 as a ministry of Woodland Baptist Church. For over forty-eight years WBCS
has been educating children in a Christian environment, with Christian values, and with a Christ-centered curriculum. WBCS is
state approved and our graduates are readily accepted to Christian and secular colleges and universities.
Founded in 2009, Woodland Baptist Bible College is a fundamental Baptist college committed to preparing God's men to preach the Bible.
We offer students a strong biblical academic program with practical ministry training. This equips them with the tools necessary to
accomplish their ministry. Classes meet on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Each person at Woodland is vital to the health and growth of the church. Seniors for Christ is a ministry that is committed to
encourage older Christians and maintain their involvement in the life of our church. Join us as we have activities each month and enjoy
a time of fellowship together.
Dealing with a loss of a loved one is sometimes a long and painful healing process. You don't have to go through this difficult time alone.
Come find help and healing through Bible study and fellowship with others facing the same struggles.
