Pastor Tim Gammons
On March 24, 1979, as a sixteen year old boy, Pastor Tim Gammons made a decision that would prove to be a turning point for the rest of his
life. He realized his need for salvation and trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. As a teenager, his heart and passion for
God soon became evident as he encouraged others to grow in their personal relationship with Him.
After answering the call to the ministry at age eighteen, his first pastorate was at Walter's Grove Baptist Church in Denton, NC. On July 1,
1997, Pastor Gammons followed God's leading and began his ministry at Woodland Baptist Church. Throughout our tremendous growth, Woodland
Baptist has maintained a close-knit family atmosphere and passion for helping people.
Long before the completion of our new multi-million dollar worship center and Christian school, the Lord gave Pastor Gammons a vision for our
beautiful forty-six acre property. His continued passion for the lost and desire to help others in their walk with Christ has lead Pastor Gammons
to take full advantage of our beautiful new campus and expand our ministries. We currently minister to the people of the Winston-Salem through
age specific Sunday School classes, student ministries, children's church, junior church, teen church, city-wide bus ministry, an addiction
recovery ministry, a grief care support group, and a Hispanic Ministry. Pastor Gammons is also the founder of Woodland Baptist Bible College.
Apart from our regular church services, Pastor Gammons can be heard on our daily radio ministry that is heard on 880 AM.
Pastor Gammons is married to the former Sandy Johnson of Pilot Mountain, NC. God has blessed them with two daughters and one son. For more
